It is our mission to provide our customers with the perfect blend of quality, efficiency and competitive pricing. We strive to honor God in all aspects of our business operations by remaining consistent, reliable and providing outstanding service.

Creative Carpentry’s beginnings can be traced to Mr. Ray Deiter’s first finish carpentry job in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1973. Along with his love for finish carpentry he began ministry work at a local church. In 1979, Mr. Deiter became an ordained pastor while continuing to work full time as a residential carpenter. Mr. Deiter hired his first employee in 1983. As his business grew, his responsibilities as a pastor increased also.

In 1992 Mr. Deiter made a decision to embrace his pastoral duties full time. He sold his finish carpentry business to an employee, Clint Frank who gave the company the name ‘Creative Carpentry Trim Crew’. At the age of 24, Clint owned and operated the business with four employees. In 2001 Clint added a sister company, Millwork Warehouse, which supplies a wide variety railing parts as well as bending rails for builders. Today the two companies serve several builders in the Chester and Lancaster County area.

Clint credits the success of the company to using Biblical principles as a guide for all company functions, just as Mr. Deiter had done. Joined with a dedicated team of 18 employees, between the office and the field, Clint is a firm believer in placing people in positions that align with their God given talents.

Extreme Makeover Home Edition

We were privileged to be a part of the ABC television show, 'Extreme Makeover Home Edition,' with our friends from Dewey Homes. In March of 2006, sixteen of our men packed up at 5 a.m. and headed for Philadelphia, to help the Py family. Our carpenters worked tirelessly installing the kitchen, trim, and railings. Enjoy these behind the scenes photographs from that day.
